This is the old hospital on Coggin Avenue. My brother and step-sister were both born there. The "new" hospital opened sometime in early 1970 where I was born in September 1970.
Before the old hospital was torn down in the 1990s, legend had it that the hospital was haunted by the souls of those who'd died in its care. As a child and teen, I was never brave enough to venture into the decrepit old building. Now I'll never have the chance.
