"There is nothing ugly; I never saw an ugly thing in my life: for let the form of an object be what it may, - light shade, and perspective will always make it beautiful."
John Constable

BLASPHEMY:
Mr. Constable obviously never drove an Oldsmobile. I picked one up today as a rental while my injured vehicle is in the shop. I looked at the thing - square, ugly brown, no style whatsoever, and asked the man "What year is it?", mentally guessing older than a rental car could possibly be, judging from the early 80's style the vehicle struggled to display. "hmmm... 96" he replied, looking at the little plate inside the doorframe. Not only is it shaped like a plain cardboard box, it's colored like a plain cardboard box, inside and out. If it didn't have the "please rob me now" rental tag, I'd label it an "unmarked" police car. I think Oldsmobile is a mispelling of the actual name of the car company but it was on all the corporate letterhead and they just never changed it. Perhaps it was "Oldmobile" or maybe "Oldiesmobile", or perhaps even "Only really Old people would drive this Mobile."
