EAR PLUGS
Friday GSU’s Cinefest had another silent movie night with The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari - a creepy, surreal nightmare as told by a patient of an insane asylum. Appropriately, the night’s soundtrack was provided live by Pineal Ventana. They do somewhat abstract racket that I generally don’t like but, as predicted, it was perfect for the film! The next silent movie night is Dec. 5, Saturday, 10 PM with Tarzan of the Apes and live music by Mary Baked Eddie. On an unrelated note, the other films showing Dec 4 - 10 are some of Ed Woods... uh... best? works - Plan 9 From Outer Space, and Bride of the Monster. Friday the 4th there’s a special midnight show for the 20th anniversary of the... uh... master’s? death with door prizes for drag queens.

INFRASTRUCTURE
You MAY be seeing less musical spam in the future. Please keep us posted, and let us know if this makes you giggle as much as it did us:
"OK, SHAKER DAY sent in our apologies, and I have deleted your mailing list
from my system. We learned the lesson so whomever is using the list is not
us. Hope you guys get to come out to the Dark Horse Tavern as we are
opening for The Outfield tonight. See Ya..."
I'd like to thank them for stepping up and takin' it like a real man. Anyone else using our mailing list that feels like giving up something for the unholyday season just do it, just say no, it's the real thing, etc.
