EAR PLUGS
Well, your editor and social chairman has spent four days crouched over some 300 Cds, 100 records, and a few dozen tapes assembling the five continuous hours of insanely eclectic music for the New Years bash. You are guaranteed to like SOMEthing out of this mix and if you want to shake your hindquarters you’ll have three full hours of late-night bliss! Funk, punk, surf, new wave, ol’ fashion rock and roll, and Western movie theme songs are just a few of the many realms into which you’ll be plunged headlong.
Bring friends. Bring explosives. Bring consumables. Bring sleeping bags if you plan on drinking. Leave your attitude, emotional baggage, kids and cares at home!
Here’s directions for those that didn’t get invites for whatever reason. Print them, love them, justify them, FOLLOW them!
From Atlanta:
400 North - dead ends into Highway 60, go left.
You’ll come to a light with a KFC on the left - go strait.
You’ll hit the Dahlonega square where you’ll merge with traffic going around the gold museum. Exit the square to the light - Highway 19. (There’s a pizza joint on the right.) Go left.
Go a couple of miles. You’ll pass an Ace Hardware on the right. Take the second left past that, Camp Washega Rd. There’s a used car lot/peanut stand on the right, auto repair place on the left.
Look at your odometer! It’s almost exactly 6 miles to the driveway on the left - look for the YER HERE sign.
