This episode has more layers than a deep dish soufflé so get a big
spoon and dig in!

WHY TO CLERMONT
I got email from degenerate LS up in Chicago that former Atlantan
Kelly Hogan is doing a show at the Clermont Lounge on New Year's Eve.
If it's anything like the Halloween she and others did there a couple
years ago it may be THE place to be for the end of the century.
Surreal location, excellent music, and close to home in case the shit
hits the fan! So if anyone has more info about that show let us know! We're hoping to pick an event that many degenerates will want to
attend so we can have SOMEthing of the annual reunion we've had for
14 years or so.

ON LINE AND FINE
Degenerate Marnie wants you to vote for her as the white trash girl
o' the month or some such at

BLASPHEMY
I'm winding down on the environmental rant, originally and ironically
inspired by the Forestry Service. There is an interesting article
noting that more travelers are looking for out-of-the-way places to
get away from it all: http://www.abcnews.go.com/ABC2000/abc2000travel/ecotourism991104.html
It unintentionally illustrates many of the points I've been making in
my rants of late - it's getting tougher and tougher to GET away from
it all since it's all spread out so much and it's all been developed
and used and abused.

We got this response, of sorts, from degnerate SC:
AN ODE TO ROACHES AND KUDZU
(with apologies to English teachers, actual poets, and those curly
headed girls that stand at the entrance to Emory on school holidays)
All the leaves are gone, and the trees are bare.
Ain't gonna have kids, so I don't care.
Betcha I outlive the last Panda Bear.
If you really care about orangutans, take off your shirt.

And the folks over at Adbusters are trying to get their
anti-commercials on the air:
