degenerate SOS sent is this brief comment:
"Please don't tar Duran Duran with the same brush as the rest of those
'80s
nostalgia tours (Flock of Seagulls, Go-Gos, et al.) Unlike those bands,
Duran Duran are actually touring to support a NEW album. Okay, so it's an
album that will probably sink like a rock because it has the unfortunate
stigma of Being An Album By Duran Duran, but that's not my point. My point
is, they're not trading on faded glory, they're still plugging away and
making new music that is (if you ask me) actually worth listening to."
To which we respond "no comment" with a sarcastic smirk.
