Degenerate MB sent us this:
"who is the arthur atkinson guy and how in the hell did he get our email address? no biggie, just saw he is soliciting through degenerate press."
Then two days later sent this: "Do you reckonize the email for tarpitz@hotmail.com.......or variation of the sorts. That's who arthur atkinson is...i just blocked him from my email since he's still f*cking sending me email...."

Hey, no need for *'s in this email, feel free to tell degenerate AA to fuck off with all U's firmly in place. I've had this kind of list abuse before, but this is the first time it's been from someone I actually KNOW. As mentioned last week, we won't tolerate ANYONE using our subscriber list. AA, this is your final warning - if anyone gets anything unsolicited from you and bitches to me about it you're off the list and I'll change the list alias.

EAR PLUGS
"Congratulations! Your site has been awarded the Nice GA.M.S. (Georgia Music Site) Award from Georgia's Music.net. As a winner, EAR PLUGS will be featured on the homepage of Georgia's Music.net for the month of May, and will have a permanent spot on the Archive page, with a link to your site."
Nothing like being noted by the competition as the best in town, eh?
In other news, the band Pinkeye, with the lovely Kelly and Mitsu, has transformed into Boss, with Dolph from Julius Pleaser. Greta Lee is working on a new CD in Nashville and it will be released in August. Cole has officially handed over Echo Lounge to Liz, the new booking agent, with a nice little letter in this week's Loafing. Can you believe 9 Lives has been there three years? This May 18 they're celebrating with Blacklight Posterboys. If that didn't make you feel old, The Highlander is celebrating it's 9th anniversary, with Bully, The Evils, and Edgewood all for FREE this Thursday.
And lastly, underground film maker/artist JOE CHRIST and author NANCY A COLLINS are pleased to announce a new multi-media event, RUGBURN. Similar in concept to their LOVE CAMP 2000 events of last year, RUGBURN is a little convention crammed into a club night, with live bands, nude body-painting, DJs, an art gallery, video room, book signings and more. The first RUGBURN will take place on SATURDAY, MAY 19 at The SOMBER REPTILE, 842 Marietta St (404-881-9701). Doors will open at 7 PM. Admission is $10. There will be free draft beer between 7 PM and 9 PM.
