DJ Romeo Cologne returns to the Star Bar. “This event is a fundraiser to aid SOHFGA, an animal rescue, adoption and outreach charity in Atlanta. DJ Romeo Cologne volunteers his services to this show and donating 100% of all door receipts to help abandoned, abused and neglected animals. $10. Cover. Doors open at 10:00.  This will be a grand event! Everyone will be dressed in their finest threads and show off their smooth dance moves as they party to Romeo’s legendary Funk and Disco music.”

Fritz Lang’s 1927 science fiction masterpiece Metropolis is presented with a live performance by Sonic Generator of Martin Matalon’s new musical score. Sonic Generator’s performance—featuring sixteen instrumentalists and electronic sounds—will present the American premiere of Matalon’s score for this newly restored edition. Performed on the piazza at the Woodruff Arts Center with the film screened dramatically onto the High Museum of Art. Bring your own beach chairs and blankets.
