Final Fantasm

I hit the prom party, run by the not-actually-passed-out Reverend John Ling. The music was restricted to something like 1989-1994, cranked out at the hands of Creative Loafer Tony Ware.
He kept working his way up the cheese ladder, thinking the next tune would be the one that would clear the room, only to find the worse the music the more folks crowded onto the floor.

It was a mix of musical pain and pleasure for me. By 1989, most popular music had little appeal for me. But there were a few tunes in there that brought back fond memories.

I roamed around in search of other distractions, but Thursday night is really just the calm before the storm. Folks are loading in, socializing, taking it easy.

Pretty soon even the one official party wound down.

Afunkalypse co-host Wes Wilson and random lovely ladies.

Out in the halls there was the usual parade of scantily clad females and the paparazzi piranha that follow them. These photos may or may not be from Thursday but they're really just to illustrate the point.

I called it an early night, comparatively speaking. I didn’t want to overdo it on Thursday, particularly when I had a lot of hustling to do on Friday to get ready for my party, so I hit the road sometime around 2.
